Bowe Road is where Anthony’s family lived after immigrating to NYC, a beloved place with Jane Jacobs vibes that became a vibrant center of family, community, fun, sharing and life. It harkens to a time when we may have been a bit disconnected by today’s standards, but we were way more connected to each other in a true sense. Places have this power, the power to advance us, to heal us.
Anthony has led or contributed to the planning, design, and construction of over 25M sf/ 11M sf built, across 6 countries and 3 continents. Anthony held full-time positions as MP Development Executive at Google, a Vice President at Related Companies, and Director of Development at Laing O'Rourke. For these leading organizations he has stood up various district schemes, design protocols, guard rails and guidelines.
Our mission is to add meaningful measurable value to the process. We want to advance humanity through the built environment, using data and creative strategic thinking to create people wellbeing. We believe in bespoke processes, we are driven by proven and effective methodologies developed for and deployed during work with Google, SpaceX and Related. Through a multi-disciplinary approach we provide a variety of services.
The best creative work comes from the best client, from aligned direction and clear goals, from a well crafted vision. We enable this. The development process is complex and fragmented, it is hard to ‘bolt on’ a large diverse design and delivery team to any owner group. We help owners take control of their scheme to secure the best outcomes. Read more about services below.
We use an empirical and research supported lens to create people-centered places tailored for community and health benefits. We borrow from our work at Google and Disney to consider performance metrics for health, safety, economics, joy, productivity and culture.
We use an owners perspective to craft project charters, project briefs and guardrail documents - all critical vision and management pieces foundational for design management, onboarding and outreach. Visiony but not fluffy we focus on the what (product definition, asset allocation), the why (productivity and economic performance), and the who (roles and responsibilities).
We prioritize the first 40’ - the space measure both horizontally and vertically where humans have the greatest grasp of their environment. In terms of design, sensory stimulation, pedestrian comfort, acoustics, mobility, biophilia and other concerns, our work optimizes for the environment that Jane Jacobs taught us about.
Workplace has been shaken up post-pandemic and not yet settled, we work with clients to ask the right questions for them, questions such as: why we gather? What does efficiency really mean and which metrics do we use to measure? Are firm policies with punitive responses the right way to attract talent?
